The MEFI5,6 and E67 controllers from GM all have the same connector layout. There are three connectors on the face of the controller. The connector names are embossed into the metal housing of the controller but the diagram below shows clearly which connector is which. J1 - This is the smallest of the three connectors and has 56 pin locations. The body of the connector housing is blue in color Marantz cd6006 review
The early TPS (1985–1989) allows for adjustment so that a closed throttle signal can be adjusted to a recommended .54V and sweep to more than 4.0V at WOT. The late TPS (1990–1992) is not designed to be adjustable because the ECM auto-zeros the TPS. This TPS uses a different harness connector than the LT1and LS-series sensors. How to convert to an '8746 ecm... So why put an ECM from a 1990 Caprice in a 1983 Camaro? Short version is that the ECM DIY community understands this ecm, and its big sister, the '7747 much better than the old ecm that came in my car (83/84 = '6026, 82 = '5055). The '8746 ecm came in the late 80's and early 90's TBI Camaro & Caprice. With the exception of the E67 ECM (and supported calibration), cruise control is a function of the body control module (BCM) and requires the controller area network (CAN) communication with the ECM for cruise control operation. With the exception of the 2004 GTO and 2003- 2006 van, all Gen III systems use a TAC module and electronic throttle body. The factory E38 or E67 controller does not have the ability to operate a cable throttle body. If using a 24x LS2 no converter box is required, however a 411 PCM (Red/Blue Connectors) is required. Hello all. We have an E67 ECM that is being used with an 08 TBSS motor swap into a Jeep. The last issue we have is the tach signal. We are using the stock jeep cluster and PCM for the gauge, and a conversion box supplied by the manufacture of the swap kit. Our problem is the tach wire. Its been set to the White wire on connector X1, Pin 25.
